Canals is hiring a senior backend engineer to own large, scalable backend systems and deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced, product-focused environment. You will collaborate with product and customer teams, take ownership of complex projects, and guide other engineers through architectural discussions.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding while shaping the technical direction of Canals as we continue to scale with a growing customer base across North and South America.

Formación

• Senior backend engineer with proven experience building scalable, high-performance systems.
• Experience working independently in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.
• Comfortable taking ownership of deliverables and ensuring high-quality results.
• Ability to guide and unblock other engineers through thoughtful code reviews and architectural feedback.
• Previous experience in high-growth startups or small teams is a plus.
