AEG Fuels in Medellín, Colombia seeks a Lead SAP Engineer (Custom Applications & Integration) to drive design, development, and maintenance of our custom applications and ensure seamless connectivity with existing enterprise systems.

The role requires strategic leadership, hands-on coding, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable, secure integrations across ERP, CRM, data warehouses, and external APIs.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• 10+ years in custom application development and integration; 5+ years in a lead role.
• Experience with SAP BTP integration platforms.
• Strong programming background: Java, Python, .NET, or JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP, ETL, and API gateways.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a team of custom application developers and integration specialists.
• Oversee lifecycle of custom application development from design to maintenance.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs into specs.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable custom apps and integrations.
• Define and enforce development standards and best practices.
• Manage code repositories, version control, and deployment processes.
