BairesDev is seeking a Senior Ruby Engineer to design and scale Ruby on Rails applications, both monolithic and modular, and to serve as a technical pillar for the engineering team. You will drive high-quality, performant software while optimizing complex data interactions.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on Ruby on Rails.
• Proven ability to build and scale monolithic and modular Rails applications.
• Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL or MySQL and ActiveRecord.
• Experience implementing background job processing using Sidekiq or Resque.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and AWS deployment strategies.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop robust, scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails and best practices.
• Architect and optimize complex database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL or MySQL and ActiveRecord.
• Implement background processing and asynchronous task management using Sidekiq or Resque.
• Build and maintain secure, well-documented RESTful APIs to support diverse front-end and third-party integrations.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using RSpec to ensure code reliability and high test coverage.
• Lead the deployment and maintenance of applications within AWS environments, ensuring system availability and performance.
