Publicis Production, located in Bogotá, seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to lead QA for a dedicated application and ensure high-quality digital experiences. The role requires hands-on manual testing, end-to-end workflow validation, and strong collaboration with product, engineering, and business teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software testing, 3+ years in a senior capacity, and advanced knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and API testing.

• Provide QA status updates, risk assessments, and testing recommendations.
• Document findings and drive issue resolution with stakeholders.
• Support test automation initiatives and review automated results.
• Mentor and support junior QA team members.

We're looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team and serve as the primary QA expert for a dedicated application. This is an opportunity for a highly autonomous professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about delivering high-quality digital experiences.

Responsabilities:

• Lead quality assurance planning and execution for a designated application area, ensuring alignment with business requirements and release objectives.
• Perform manual functional testing, end-to-end workflow validation, exploratory testing, regression testing, and defect management activities.
• Analyze requirements and create comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases.
• Conduct service and API testing to validate integrations, data flows, and system interactions.
• Act as the primary QA expert within the application team, providing guidance on testing approaches, quality risks, and release readiness.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and identify potential quality concerns early in the development lifecycle.
• Provide quality status updates, risk assessments, and testing recommendations to project stakeholders.
• Document findings, proactively communicate blockers, and drive issue resolution through effective collaboration.
• Support test automation initiatives by creating structured test cases and working closely with automation engineers to review automated test results.
• Mentor and support less experienced QA team members while promoting quality best practices across the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software testing experience, including 3+ years operating in a senior QA capacity.
• Advanced experience in manual functional testing and end-to-end user workflow validation.
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and release management processes.
• Hands-on experience with API and service-layer testing.
• Experience working with Jira, Zephyr, and other quality assurance management tools.
• Ability to create high-quality test documentation and testing assets that support manual and automated validation efforts.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to proactively gather information, document findings, and communicate risks effectively.
• Highly adaptable self-starter capable of working independently in fast-paced and evolving environments.
• Interest and aptitude for leveraging AI tools to improve QA processes, documentation, test coverage, and traceability.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+ or higher)
