EPAM Systems in Colombia seeks a Senior Python Developer to join our global team and contribute to scalable Python-based solutions across diverse projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate requirements into robust, well-tested features and ensure high-quality software delivery.

You will work with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure), containers (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and comprehensive unit testing in an agile environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and Django/Flask/FastAPI
• Solid understanding of algorithms, design patterns, and software architecture
• Proficiency with databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Experience with cloud providers (GCP/AWS/Azure)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools
• Hands-on Docker experience
• English level B2 or higher

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with clients and teams to translate requirements into technical specs
• Write, test, and maintain high-quality Python code
• Design and implement new features based on project needs
• Conduct unit, integration, and functional tests
• Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues
• Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and systems
• Participate in agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Ensure solutions are scalable and align with best practices

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic team. As a key contributor, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead technical initiatives, and play a pivotal role in developing high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Write, test, and maintain high-quality code in Python and potentially other programming languages as needed
• Design and implement new features and functionalities based on project requirements
• Conduct unit, integration, and functional testing to ensure the reliability and quality of the software
• Identify and resolve software bugs and performance issues
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for code, APIs, and systems
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Ensure that software solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with industry best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development (Python)
• Strong proficiency in Python and its frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI)
• Solid understanding of algorithms, design patterns, and software architecture principles
• Proficiency in working with databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other major cloud providers (AWS, Azure)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools
• Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization
• Experience with Unit testing
• B2 English level

Nice to have

• Front-end development experience with frameworks like Angular or React
• Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration
