BairesDev is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams in medium to large staff augmentation projects. You will manage project scope, schedule, and quality, while fostering strong client relationships and internal collaboration.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years as a Software Project Manager, deep IT PM expertise, and a background in Agile methods. This is a 100% remote role with international teams and USD or local currency compensation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Software Project Manager.
• Extensive IT industry experience with strong PM practices and Agile methodologies.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to motivate diverse teams.
• Proficient in English, written and spoken.
• Experience as a Software Engineer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor project results; provide coaching and discipline as needed.
• Coordinate and enforce company systems to maintain quality and consistency.
• Retain staff by fostering a reliable and communicative work environment and growth opportunities.
• Analyze and improve billable utilization, plan capacity, forecast profitability.
• Forecast financial results, expenditures, variances, and corrective actions.
• Identify farming opportunities within existing clients and deliver value to stakeholders.
• Support strategic plans for implementing technologies to improve efficiency.

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to join our team and manage medium to large Staff Augmentation projects. As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead multi-disciplinary, highly skilled engineering teams to deliver specific products or transformations, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed efficiently and effectively.

What You’ll Do:

• Plan and monitor project results, providing coaching, counseling, and discipline to employees as needed.
• Coordinate and enforce company systems, policies, and procedures to maintain project quality and consistency.
• Retain staff by fostering a reliable and communicative work environment, developing personal interaction with team members, and identifying growth opportunities.
• Strategically analyze and improve billable utilization, plan capacity, and forecast project profitability.
• Achieve financial objectives by forecasting financial results, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
• Take a proactive role in identifying farming opportunities within existing clients and delivering value to all internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by supporting and delivering strategic plans for implementing technologies.

• 4+ years of experience as a Software Project Manager.
• Extensive experience in the IT industry, with a deep understanding of project management practices and Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Good English level, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with global teams and clients.
• Past experience as a Software Engineer is a plus.
