Intellias in Colombia seeks an experienced Oracle DBA to administer Exadata systems, perform health checks and lead end-to-end migrations to Exadata. The role emphasizes Linux admin skills, RAC/ASM tuning, and automation to support high-availability environments.

The candidate will work in a 100% remote setup with an English-enabled environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring robust backup and recovery strategies across on-prem and cloud platforms.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA with Exadata background.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard and tuning.
• Hands-on migrations and large-scale environment management.
• Linux admin skills related to Oracle workloads.
• Experience with EBS (R12) and OCI cloud environments is beneficial.
• Automation mindset with HA architectures and scripting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and maintain Oracle Exadata systems including storage cells and compute nodes.
• Perform health checks, patching, capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Lead end-to-end migrations to Exadata with planning and validation.
• Coordinate cutovers with minimal downtime across teams.
• Automate cloning and refresh processes; manage non-production environments.
• Design VM layouts on Exadata and collaborate with infra teams.
• Support EBS environments including patching, tuning, and cloning.
• Assist with AWS/OCI backup, DR, and migration strategies.
• Maintain security, backups, and runbooks; provide on-call support.
