Anyone AI Inc. is seeking experienced Software Engineers for a remote, part-time consulting project focused on evaluating real-world software engineering tasks drawn from open-source repositories. You will review tasks based on GitHub issues and PRs, assess clarity and solvability, and judge test coverage and reproducibility across environments.

The role emphasizes rigorous testing, dependency management, and architectural insight to ensure tasks meet real-world software engineering standards.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with large multi-file codebases.
• Experience reviewing pull requests and debugging issues.
• Strong understanding of unit testing and test coverage.
• Ability to evaluate tests’ effectiveness without overly constraining solutions.
• Experience with dependency management and environment setup.
• Strong Git and GitHub workflows knowledge.
• Ability to provide clear written feedback.

Responsabilidades

• Review coding tasks derived from real GitHub issues and PRs.
• Assess whether problem statements and success criteria are clear and complete.
• Evaluate unit tests for correctness, coverage, and robustness; identify flaky tests and environment issues.
• Determine whether tasks can be reproduced across environments.
• Assess real-world difficulty and complexity of each task.
• Provide clear recommendations on whether tasks should be accepted, improved, or excluded.
