BairesDev is seeking a Backend Engineer (Node) to build and maintain server-side applications in the Node.js ecosystem. You will contribute to high-performance APIs and event-driven services, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend, while working 100% remotely with a global team.

You will design REST and GraphQL APIs, deploy on AWS, work with PostgreSQL or MongoDB, and write tests with Jest or Vitest.

Formación

• 4+ years of Backend Engineering/Software Engineering experience.
• Proven ability to build scalable APIs and event-driven services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience designing REST and GraphQL APIs with asynchronous patterns.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB databases.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS (Lambda/ECS).
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop scalable REST and GraphQL APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Build and optimize event-driven services and asynchronous processing patterns.
• Manage and interact with PostgreSQL or MongoDB to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Deploy and maintain cloud-based services using AWS Lambda or ECS.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using Jest or Vitest to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture requirements and technical specs.
