Applaudo is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to resolve complex production issues across Azure-hosted environments and to coordinate across Development, Infrastructure, Security, and Support teams.

You will own critical P1/P2 incidents, analyze logs, metrics, and traces, and translate findings into executive-ready remediation plans. This 6-month temporary role requires strong Azure expertise and concise English communication.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience with C# and .NET applications, including production support.
• Advanced troubleshooting of ASP.NET Core apps, REST APIs, integrations at production scale.
• Proven experience owning and resolving critical P1/P2 production incidents.
• Strong knowledge of Azure App Services, AKS, storage, networking, and Microsoft Entra/Azure AD.
• Ability to navigate the Azure Portal during real-time incident investigations.
• Experience receiving escalations from L1/L2 and driving resolutions.
• Root-cause analysis using logs, metrics, traces, and distributed telemetry.
• Experience configuring and tuning Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, alerts, dashboards.
• Diagnose code-level issues involving performance, memory, threading, async processing, and integration failures.
• Experience with retry policies, circuit breakers, bulkhead isolation, caching, and async processing in distributed .NET systems.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills for investigating application and data issues.
• Coordinate incident resolution across Dev, Infra, Security, and Support teams.
• Strong ownership, composure under pressure, and resolution-focused decision-making.
• Professional English communication, including executive-ready written updates.

Responsabilidades

• Own and resolve complex P1/P2 incidents affecting Azure-hosted .NET apps and integrations.
• Provide deep technical troubleshooting across app, infrastructure, and platform layers.
• Investigate issues involving Azure App Services, AKS, networking, identity, storage, APIs, and background services.
• Receive escalations and drive resolution from initial investigation through closure.
• Coordinate incident response across Development, Infra, Security, and Operations.
• Perform RCA for recurring incidents using telemetry data.
• Create executive-ready RCA documentation.
• Configure and tune Azure Monitor, App Insights, Log Analytics, alerts, and dashboards.
• Monitor and improve performance, availability, resiliency, and efficiency.
• Work with Development to resolve code-level issues in C#, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs.
• Recommend improvements: retries, circuit breakers, caching, async processing.
• Use SQL to support production investigations and validate findings.
• Support vulnerability remediation and deployment troubleshooting when required.
• Communicate findings, business impact, risks, and plans to tech and senior stakeholders.

You are a Senior .NET Engineer who thrives on solving complex production issues across Azure-hosted environments. You enjoy investigating problems beyond the application layer, connecting signals across code, infrastructure, identity, networking, integrations, and data to understand what is happening and drive incidents through resolution.

You bring strong technical judgment and remain composed during high-impact situations, using logs, metrics, traces, and distributed telemetry to isolate root causes and make informed decisions. You take ownership of critical escalations, collaborate effectively across Development, Infrastructure, Security, and Support teams, and can translate complex technical findings into clear business impact, resolution plans, and executive-ready documentation.

Note: This is a temporary 6-month opportunity.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience working with C# and .NET applications, including substantial production support or operational troubleshooting responsibilities.
• Advanced experience troubleshooting ASP.NET Core applications, REST APIs, integrations, and background services at production scale.
• Proven experience independently owning and resolving critical P1/P2 production incidents.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Azure App Services, AKS, storage, networking, and Microsoft Entra ID or Azure AD.
• Ability to navigate the Azure Portal fluently during real-time incident investigations.
• Experience receiving escalations from L1 and L2 support teams and driving them through resolution.
• Strong root-cause analysis capabilities using logs, metrics, traces, and distributed telemetry.
• Hands-on experience configuring and tuning Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, alerts, and operational dashboards.
• Ability to diagnose code-level issues involving performance, memory, threading, asynchronous processing, and integration failures.
• Practical experience with retry policies, circuit breakers, bulkhead isolation, caching, and asynchronous processing in distributed .NET systems.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills for investigating application and data-related production issues.
• Experience coordinating incident resolution across Development, Infrastructure, Security, and Support teams.
• Strong ownership, composure under pressure, and resolution-focused decision-making.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including executive-ready written communication.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with vulnerability remediation and security-patching workflows in Azure environments.
• Experience diagnosing CI/CD and deployment failures using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Docker Compose, Helm, or containerized workloads beyond basic AKS operations.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
• Experience with Azure cost optimization, right-sizing, scaling policies, or reserved capacity.
• Experience supporting operational or distribution-related enterprise systems.
• AZ-204, AZ-400, AZ-305, AZ-500, Azure Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or another relevant Microsoft certification.
• ITIL Foundation certification or practical experience working within formal incident-management processes.

• Coordinate incident response across Development, Infrastructure, Security, and Operational stakeholders.
• Perform root-cause analysis for recurring incidents and high-impact outages using logs, metrics, traces, and distributed telemetry.
• Create clear, detailed, and executive-ready root-cause analysis documentation.
• Configure and tune Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, alerts, and operational dashboards.
• Monitor and improve application performance, availability, resiliency, and operational efficiency.
• Work with Development teams to identify and resolve code-level issues in C#, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, integrations, and background services.
• Recommend and implement improvements involving retry policies, circuit breakers, bulkhead isolation, caching, and asynchronous processing.
• Use SQL to support production investigations and validate application or data-related findings.
