ScotiaGBS Colombia del grupo Scotiabank is seeking a Senior Manager Data Execution-Financial Data to lead static data initiatives for counterparties and ensure data quality across the business ecosystem.

You will collaborate with Static Data teams and GBM stakeholders to clarify, investigate and resolve data issues, prioritise requirements, and champion continuous improvement to support regulatory and business needs in global markets.

Qualificações

• Strong background in data management, onboarding, financial services, and information technology.
• Knowledge or experience in Capital Markets.

Responsabilidades

• Work with the team to resolve issues and multi-faceted problems to meet business needs, focusing on improvements related to static data setup for counterparties.
• Liaise with static data teams and GBM stakeholders to clarify and investigate data issues/inconsistencies; act as a central contact for counterparty issues and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of changes in regulatory rules (FATCA, Volker, EMIR, Dodd-Frank) applicable to GBM businesses and regulator bodies (CFTC, IRS, OSFI, FINRA, SEC, CIRO).
• Represent Static Data in projects, prioritise requirements, issues and deliverables across stakeholders.

What will you do ?

• Work with the team to resolve any issues, multi-faceted problems to meet the business needs focusing on creating measurable/ qualitative improvements relating to static data setup for counterparties.
• Liaise with all static data teams and GBM business lines and other GBM stakeholders to clarify and investigate data issues/ inconsistencies. Act as a central point of contact with other departments for counterparty related issues and champion continuous improvement initiatives that support the optimal function for the businesses that we support.
• Strong operating knowledge of current and upcoming changes in rules and regulations such as a FATCA, Volker, EMIR, Dodd Frank as applicable to GBM businesses and in accordance with the relevant governing regulator bodies, specifically CFTC, IRS, OSFI, FINRA, SEC, CIRO etc.
• Work with stakeholders of Static Data and represent within various projects and business initiatives and prioritize requirements, issues and deliverables.
