As an IT Strategy Consultant at Kyndryl, you will be responsible for delivering value to customers and Kyndryl by applying deep domain, technology, and industry expertise, consulting techniques, and cognitive approaches to analyze issues and create innovative solutions. You will establish milestones, quality targets, and manage the work of others while possessing strong communication skills to articulate the impact and business benefits of your solutions and manage stakeholder expectations.

In this role, you will guide customers in their adoption of both major cloud and non‑cloud technologies, including virtualization and containers. You will advise customers on technology options and help them make strategic choices and decisions. Additionally, you will capture and prioritize complex requirements and resolve conflicting requirements.

As a trusted and experienced Consultant, you will be responsible for a vast number of essential technical components such as analyzing the customer’s current state, defining IT Strategy including key outcomes, designing conceptual solutions, planning and executing design and implementation work, and accounting for time, cost, and quality targets. You will also develop IP and own specific assets, tools, and white papers articulating point of views in a specific domain, assemble and lead a team of consultants and architects, and facilitate and capture lessons learned from engagements to update methodologies and assets.

Lastly, as a transformational catalyst, you will spearhead comprehensive modernization programs encompassing people, culture, process, and technology, revolutionizing organizations from within.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic consulting engagements focused on technology strategy, IT operating models, and technology business cases.
• Analyze and design solutions that align business objectives with technology capabilities, generating efficiencies and value.
• Facilitate workshops with internal stakeholders and consulting partners to develop actionable recommendations.
• Support governance and compliance with IT frameworks and best practices.
• Interact with senior stakeholders and influence strategic decisions.
• Lead technical and support teams, mentor, and manage critical situations.
• Manage complex projects, ensuring delivery aligned with strategic goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients at technical and business levels.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience than 8 years in technology strategy consulting, ideally in top‑tier firms.
• Strong analytical skills for building business cases and identifying technology‑driven efficiencies.
• Ability to interact with senior stakeholders and influence strategic decisions.
• Expertise in defining and implementing IT operating models aligned with business strategy.
• Experience driving transformation, innovation, and efficiency initiatives across industries.
• Ability to assess and propose strategic technology investments and efficiencies.
• Experience leading technical and support teams, mentoring, and managing critical situations.
• Skilled in managing complex projects and ensuring delivery aligned with strategic goals.
• Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at technical and business levels.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Knowledge of IT Operating Models and frameworks such as ITIL or COBIT (certifications desirable but not mandatory).

Familiarity with enterprise architecture concepts (background as Enterprise Architect is a plus, but not technical application architect).

Strong background in Azure and Microsoft 365 migrations, deployments, and architecture.

Deep knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, and Unified Communications.

Led automation initiatives and adoption of ITIL standards for infrastructure monitoring and support.

Microsoft certifications (Azure Administrator, M365 Fundamentals, MCSE Productivity).

SCRUM Foundation for agile project delivery.
