EPAM Systems is seeking a highly skilled Java Tech Lead to provide technical leadership for our engineering team, driving the design and delivery of high‑quality software solutions. You will mentor, innovate, and collaborate to ensure development processes and systems meet business goals.

Lead development teams, resolve production and development issues, maintain quality, manage backlog, and champion continuous improvement while partnering with cross‑functional teams on complex projects.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional software development experience (Java).
• Expertise in Java 11 or later.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Hands-on Docker experience.
• Strong knowledge of unit testing and TDD.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• B2 English level.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development teams with technical guidance and collaboration.
• Lead advanced debugging to resolve issues.
• Ensure products deliver business value, on time, high quality, and minimal technical debt.
• Act as role model, fostering learning and continuous improvement.
• Introduce process improvements to enhance team efficiency and project outcomes.
• Participate in staff hiring, onboarding, and career development initiatives.
• Provide tactical vision and ownership for subsystems or projects.
• Work independently, own deliverables, and test thoroughly with defined test cases.
