Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc is seeking a Senior Java Developer with an AI background to build dependable, scalable backend services for innovation-led initiatives. You will work with Java Core, Java 8, Spring Boot, REST, SQL, and Microservice Architecture while supporting cloud deployments on Microsoft Azure and AWS.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, participate in architectural reviews, coach juniors, and document critical technical choices to guide future delivery and maintain quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in a comparable technical role.
• Solid expertise in Java Core and object-oriented programming principles.
• Production-grade Java 8 development experience.
• Experience with Spring Boot for backend services.
• Familiar with Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud deployments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD fundamentals for automated delivery.
• Experience with REST API design and integration.
• SQL proficiency for relational databases.
• Unit testing to ensure code quality and stability.
• Basic understanding of NoSQL databases and English at B2 level+.
