BairesDev is seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer – Integrations to build robust backend services that power external-system connections. You will focus on secure authentication, scalable integrations, and reliable data pipelines.

You will work on API design, event-driven patterns, and multi-tenant environments while collaborating with global teams. 100% remote with competitive USD compensation and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Deep experience with API and systems integration (REST, webhooks, event-driven).
• Experience with OAuth and multi-tenant permissioning/auth flows.
• ETL/data pipelines with connectors, parsers, and schema normalization.
• Experience integrating with platforms like M365, Outlook, Teams, Slack, iManage.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java backend services powering API and system integrations (REST, webhooks, event-driven).
• Implement OAuth and multi-tenant authentication/authorization logic.
• Build ETL pipelines including connectors, parsers, and schema normalization.
• Develop integrations with platforms such as M365, Outlook, Teams, Slack, or iManage.
• Ensure connector reliability via contract testing, versioning, and regression coverage.
