Loka is a globally distributed tech consultancy seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design and implement GenAI solutions across projects. You will own end-to-end development of LLM-powered applications, from data ingestion to deployment, and collaborate with data engineering, DevOps, and backend teams in a fully remote setup.

You will mentor junior engineers, craft evaluation frameworks, optimize performance and cost in AWS, and help shape architectural decisions while maintaining

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• Proven GenAI, prompt engineering, fine-tuning and serving LLMs.
• Experience with AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, or similar cloud ML services.
• Proficient Python and ML libraries (scikit-learn, PyTorch, HuggingFace, TF).
• Experience with containers and orchestration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead ML project work and client communications, gathering requirements.
• Design and implement end-to-end GenAI systems and RAG pipelines.
• Develop evaluators and production monitoring for GenAI models.
• Wrangle, explore, and visualize data with quality checks.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, DevOps, Backend teams.
• Document technical details and drive architectural decisions.
