Globant seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer with GCP and SecOps experience to secure our partners’ digital futures. You will lead cloud security initiatives and threat detection across development lifecycles.

Responsibilities include designing log pipelines, implementing Chronicle SIEM/SOAR, writing YARA-L rules, automating incident response, and performing proactive threat hunts using Google Threat Intelligence and API integrations.

Formación

• Conversational English.
• Experience with GCP under a DevSecOps approach, integrating and automating defensive security practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• End-to-end management and implementation of the unified SIEM and SOAR platform (Chronicle) to strengthen defense infrastructure.
• Design scalable log ingestion pipelines and create custom parsers for high-quality telemetry.
• Apply knowledge of the Unified Data Model (UDM) for log structuring and normalization.
• Write, test, and fine-tune defensive detection rules using YARA-L.
• Build and automate incident response playbooks (SOAR).
• Execute proactive threat hunting and forensic investigations leveraging Google Threat Intelligence, and integrate third-party security tools via APIs.
• Preferred: Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer / Security Operations Engineer certifications or training.

Responsabilidades

• Integrate security tools and data sources via APIs.
