AgileEngine, LLC. seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build and maintain frontend and backend services and automation workflows in a data-intensive setting. You will work with Java, Python, and microservices, and leverage React for the frontend, bridging software and data engineering.

The role operates in an agile environment backed by a Jira backlog and offers remote and office options across LatAm. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software engineering, strong data architecture

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong backend experience with Java as the primary language, along with Python and microservices, plus frontend (React, UI/UX) development.
• Strong understanding of scalable data architecture and performance optimization.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Practical architectural sense.
• Being based in LatAm.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain frontend and backend services and automation workflows, with Java as the primary backend language alongside Python and microservices, plus React on the frontend.
• Bridge software engineering and data engineering responsibilities.
• Work within an agile sprint process backed by a JIRA backlog.
• Deliver with a strong execution focus in evolving, data-intensive environments.
• Collaborate effectively across the engineering team.
