Athenaworks is seeking a Mid-Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs, while shaping front-end interfaces with React and TypeScript. You will own features end-to-end, design data schemas, and implement tests across the stack in a dynamic startup setting.

You’ll work with AWS services, modern tooling, and AI-assisted development to enhance quality and efficiency, in a fast-paced team that values ownership and collaboration.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional software development with full-stack experience.
• Backend with Java or Python; relational databases and schema design.
• Deep AWS knowledge (SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
• Frontend with React and TypeScript; unit/integration testing.
• Strong English communication; startup-ready mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with teammates to create design recommendations for development and integration of new features.
• Own features from conception to deployment including database schema design, backend logic, API development, and frontend implementation.
• Implement unit, integration, and functional tests across the full stack.
• Participate in code reviews for frontend and backend code to ensure clean, efficient, and compliant code.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the stack from DB queries to UI rendering.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users across the system.
• Use AI tools across the development lifecycle to boost efficiency and CI/CD optimization.
