AgileEngine in Cartagena, Colombia is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to build and maintain features in a large, modern Angular application, with opportunities to contribute to backend work.

You will collaborate with UX, product, and engineering teams to translate requirements into accessible, high-quality frontend features, shaping architecture, and embracing AI-assisted development tools in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Angular experience, specifically modern Angular.
• Strong frontend engineering skills and experience working on production web applications.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture and maintainable code.
• Basic, practical understanding of web accessibility.
• Experience working effectively in a collaborative engineering team.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools.
• Ability to work with significant overlap with US time zones.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain features in a large modern Angular application.
• Contribute to frontend architecture and technical decisions.

• Contribute to build, bundling, and frontend development workflows.
• Follow accessibility best practices and participate in accessibility reviews.
• Contribute to backend work when needed, working with the existing engineering team.

• Collaborate with engineers across multiple product initiatives.

• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools.
• Ability to work with significant overlap with US time zones.

NICE TO HAVES

• Strong hands-on accessibility experience, including accessibility testing and remediation.
• Experience with Angular Material or similar UI component libraries.
• Experience with frontend build, bundling, or related tooling.
• Experience with PHP/Laravel or Python.
• Experience working with GCP.
• Experience with AI-native / agentic software development workflows.
• SaaS or EdTech experience.
