Publicis Global Delivery, the talent powerhouse of Publicis Groupe, seeks an experienced Front-End Engineer to contribute to the technology solution under senior guidance. You will code features, review pull requests, and implement UI components with a focus on performance and accessibility.

Formación

• BS in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience working with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
• Experience dealing with cross-browser and responsive development.
• Experience with at least one popular JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue, Nest).
• Enterprise Architecture, Agile methodology, Cloud, DevOps.

Responsabilidades

• Performs coding activities for implementation of features and resolution of technical issues
• Follows syntactic coding standards, processes, and enforcement controls for project code base
• Writes unit tests according to project guidelines, e.g. TDD
• Performs code and pull request reviews to ensure quality and provides feedback, mentorship, and general direction to more junior team members
• Follows best practices related to coding as it may pertain user experience concerns
• Troubleshoots technical issues, performs root cause analysis, and participates in mitigation activities to avoid recurrence
• Understands at least one modern framework or platform
• Implements components or features within the chosen framework or platform
• Understands networking concepts related to TCP, HTTP, TLS, etc.
• Follows design patterns established for the project
• Has awareness of application performance, including network, lifecycle, and render
• Has a solid understanding of the tools and techniques needed to faithfully implement visual design in the chosen platform, including the use of fonts, animations, and transitions
• Demonstrates knowledge of accessibility requirements, tools, and practices
• Reviews and understands overall architecture
• Digest story definition, acceptance criteria, and or business requirements to properly design component presentation and behavior.
• Provides recommendations for requirements and or acceptance criteria during story definition
• Understands Behavior Driven Development, Domain Driven Design, or Acceptance Test Driven Development approaches to requirements definition
• Works with UX to fully flesh out components and their behaviors across all viewports
• Communicate potential issues to project leads

Overview

A Front-End Engineer still works primarily at the direction of more senior technologists on the team but is also beginning to contribute to the technological advancement of the solution through research, proof of concept work, and code reviews.
