CI&T is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Technology team. You will be a technical reference for designing, architecting, and delivering scalable cloud-native solutions, bridging innovation, data security, and business impact.

The ideal candidate has strong AWS experience, hands-on expertise with LLMs and AI agents, and a security‑first mindset, with the independence to guide other engineers while shaping architecture.

Formación

• Proficiency in English at a C1 level or higher.
• Strong non‑internship professional software development experience.
• Experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience developing cloud‑native applications using AWS services and architectural decisions around cost, performance, and scalability.
• Experience with or passion for generative AI.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
• Experience leading the design, build, and deployment of complex, reliable software in production.

Responsabilidades

• Own the architecture of distributed, cloud‑native systems end‑to‑end, from infrastructure‑as‑code (AWS CDK) through to production operations.
• Author Architecture Decision Records that establish standards and translate business requirements into technical plans.
• Raise the technical bar through code reviews, design critiques, and mentorship, growing the engineers around you.

We're seeking an exceptional Senior Software engineer to join our Technology team. You will be a technical reference for designing, architecting, and delivering scalable solutions, acting as a bridge between technical innovation, data security, and business impact.

You'll work within a stable team, working in the architecture and evolution of our solutions over time. The ideal candidate combines strong cloud experience (especially AWS), hands‑on expertise in LLMs, AI agents, and Generative AI architectures, a security‑first mindset, and the maturity to make architectural decisions independently while providing technical guidance to other team members.

Responsibilities

• You will own the architecture of distributed, cloud‑native systems end‑to‑end, from infrastructure‑as‑code (AWS CDK) through to production operations
• You will author Architecture Decision Records that establish standards outlasting any single project, and translate ambiguous business requirements into scoped, shippable technical plans, driving alignment across product and engineering stakeholders
• Beyond your own delivery, you will raise the technical bar of the team through code reviews, design critiques, and mentorship, taking ownership of the growth of the engineers around you as seriously as the systems you build

Requirements

• Proficiency in English at a C1 level or higher
• Strong experience years of non‑internship professional software development experience
• Experience leading the design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Years of experience developing cloud‑native applications and platforms using Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, AWS Bedrock, SQS, SNS, and ECS, with the ability to make architectural decisions around cost, performance, and scalability
• Experience with or passion for generative AI
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead
• Experience leading the design, build, and deployment of complex, performant (reliable and scalable) software solutions in production

Nice to Have

• Experience across the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience developing with AI tooling such as Claude Code or Cursor
• Experience building or integrating AI agents using orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar
