• 6–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure architecture and cloud infrastructure.
• Advanced experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Azure Container Apps.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking and security, including NSGs and Key Vault.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD automation.
• Experience with API Gateway, Cloudflare, and Redis is highly valuable.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with architects and stakeholders.

Overview

Publicis Sapient is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help build, automate, and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure supporting a large U.S. healthcare and pharmacy platform. This is a hands‑on individual contributor role for an experienced infrastructure professional who can work independently across Azure, Terraform, containers, networking, security, and CI/CD.

You’ll partner closely with engineering teams, architects, and senior stakeholders to enable reliable production deployments, resolve infrastructure dependencies, and continuously improve the platform while operating within strict healthcare security and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

Your Impact

Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

• Design, implement, and support Azure cloud infrastructure for large-scale enterprise applications.
• Build consistent and repeatable environments using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Support containerized workloads using Docker and Azure Container Apps.
• Drive infrastructure automation and operational improvements that increase reliability and delivery efficiency.

Security, Networking & Platform Services

• Implement secure cloud environments using Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Key Vault, and secure access patterns.
• Support API integrations through API Gateway and distributed cloud services.
• Work with Cloudflare for edge security and traffic management.
• Implement and support Redis Cache for application performance and scalability.
• Operate within environments subject to strict security, privacy, and compliance requirements.

CI/CD & Production Delivery

• Build and maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Support end-to-end production deployment processes, ensuring environments are ready, secure, and reliable.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and proactively drive blockers and dependencies to resolution.

Collaboration & Technical Ownership

• Partner with developers, platform teams, architects, and senior stakeholders to align infrastructure decisions with business and delivery needs.
• Communicate infrastructure risks, dependencies, and environment readiness clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across cloud reliability, security, scalability, and automation.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

• 6–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure architecture and cloud infrastructure.
• Advanced experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Azure Container Apps or similar container platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking and security, including NSGs and Key Vault.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD automation.
• Experience with API Gateway, Cloudflare, and Redis is highly valuable.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex enterprise environments.
• Ability to work independently, manage dependencies, and drive technical issues to resolution.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with architects and senior stakeholders.
