Blankfactor seeks a Lead DevOps Engineer with deep Microsoft Azure expertise to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure. You will automate deployments, enable observability, and drive CI/CD in cloud-native environments.

You will design AKS clusters with Istio, implement security controls such as RBAC and WAF, and partner with architects to codify best practices while using Terraform, ArgoCD, and Datadog for reliable, compliant operations.

Formación

• 7+ years in DevOps/SRE roles with strong Azure focus.
• Expert-level Terraform for IaC and Datadog observability.
• Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps workflows; strong scripting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and manage Azure-based infrastructure using Terraform (IaC).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Deploy and manage AKS clusters with Istio and Pod Security configurations.
• Ensure robust monitoring and alerting with Datadog.
• Manage ArgoCD for GitOps deployment workflows.
• Secure infrastructure using Azure Key Vault, RBAC, Network Policies, and WAF.
• Collaborate with developers to define infrastructure best practices.
• Maintain scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash, YAML).
• Implement and manage network components: VNet, Load Balancers, DNS, API Gateways.
• Optimize storage/compute: Blob Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Functions.

Role Overview

We’re seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure. You’ll be a key player in automating deployments, enabling observability, and ensuring continuous integration and delivery in cloud-native environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage Azure-based infrastructure using Terraform (IaC).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes (AKS) clusters with advanced networking, Istio, and Pod Security configurations.
• Ensure robust monitoring, logging, and alerting through Datadog.
• Manage ArgoCD for GitOps-based deployment workflows.
• Secure infrastructure using Azure Key Vault, RBAC, Network Policies, and WAF.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to define infrastructure best practices.
• Maintain scripting tools using PowerShell, Bash, and YAML.
• Implement and manage network components: Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, DNS, API Gateways.
• Optimize storage and compute services: Blob Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Functions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years in DevOps/SRE roles, with strong focus on Azure environments.
• Expert-level knowledge of:
• Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
• Datadog for observability and alerting
• ArgoCD and GitOps workflows
• Strong knowledge of:
• Scripting (PowerShell/Bash)
• RBAC, WAF, Blob Storage
• Experience with GitHub for source control and collaboration

Nice to Have

• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD
• Familiarity with Azure API Management or advanced Application Gateway configurations
• Experience with serverless solutions on Azure
