BairesDev is seeking a Senior Data Quality Engineer to own the automation of data quality frameworks within a lakehouse environment, ensuring trust and precision across enterprise data assets. You will design automated quality validation, implement schema drift detection, and enforce completeness SLAs while collaborating with engineering teams to locate and fix data defects.

This is 100% remote with flexible hours and collaboration with a global Top 1% data talent.

Formación

• 5+ years in Data Engineering or related role.
• Experience with data quality automation in lakehouse environments.
• Experience with DQ validation, regression testing and completeness SLAs.
• Schema drift detection knowledge and Great Expectations or Deequ.

• Develop robust mechanisms for schema drift detection to capture format variations dynamically.
• Establish and enforce data completeness SLAs to guarantee high-integrity data availability.

• Partner with engineering teams to identify, isolate, and resolve structural data defects.

Senior Data Quality Engineer at BairesDev

As a Senior Data Quality Engineer, you will own the automation of data quality frameworks within the lakehouse environment to guarantee trust and precision across enterprise data assets. You will serve as a key custodian of reliability, ensuring data products adhere to strict completeness SLAs and remain resilient against schema anomalies.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement automated data quality validation frameworks across pipelines and data products.
• Develop robust mechanisms for schema drift detection to capture format variations dynamically.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Quality, or a related role.
• Proven expertise in data quality automation within Databricks lakehouse environments.
• Hands-on experience implementing automated DQ validation, regression testing, and completeness SLAs.
• Strong knowledge of schema drift detection and Great Expectations or Deequ-style frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
