Nodi in Bogotá is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to drive evaluation, validation, and adoption of emerging Databricks and Microsoft Azure capabilities across the enterprise data platform. You will partner with platform teams to assess Unity Catalog, data governance, and related services through hands-on POCs.

The role blends engineering, platform integration, and technical research to define standards, build reusable frameworks, and document architecture choices for stakeholders.

Formación

• Hands-on Databricks experience with Unity Catalog and data governance concepts.
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure data services.
• Proficient in API development and REST services.
• Experience integrating enterprise platforms and cloud-native solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Familiar with CI/CD and GitHub workflows.
• Experience in evaluating pilots or architecture assessments.
• Strong communicator with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate new Microsoft Azure and Databricks capabilities for enterprise adoption.
• Design and execute POCs to assess scalability, security, governance, operability and value.
• Build integrations and reusable frameworks using APIs and automation tooling.
• Define technical standards and adoption recommendations with platform teams.
• Analyze data governance, observability, and platform automation capabilities.
• Develop technical docs and architecture recommendations for stakeholders.
• Support platform modernization to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot to speed up experimentation.
