Blanc Labs, headquartered in Toronto, seeks a Senior Data Architect with AI skills to lead enterprise data architecture strategy across modern data platforms. You will design scalable data solutions, including data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and MDM frameworks, supporting analytics, reporting, and AI workloads.

Collaborate with data science teams to enable GenAI and agentic AI use cases, while ensuring governance, security, and cost efficiency across AWS data services and cloud-native

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.
• Proven ability to design data models (conceptual, logical, physical) for enterprise systems.
• Experience building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.
• Strong expertise with Databricks for data engineering and analytics.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric for unified data and analytics.
• AWS data services familiarity (S3, Glue, Redshift).
• Understanding AI/ML data requirements for GenAI and LLM-based systems.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.

Responsabilidades

• Design and evolve enterprise data architecture strategies across data lakes and warehouses.
• Lead ETL/ELT pipelines to support analytics, reporting, and AI workloads.
• Architect and implement MDM frameworks for data quality and governance.
• Build modern data platforms using Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
• Design cloud-native data solutions on AWS for scalable, secure architectures.
• Define metadata management, data lineage, and governance standards.
• Collaborate with data science/AI teams to support GenAI and agentic systems.
• Translate business data requirements into scalable architecture solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data teams.
• Troubleshoot complex data pipelines and drive long-term fixes.
