Worley is seeking a Senior Counsel to support the Americas Legal team in the Bogota region. The role focuses on commercial and contractual matters, providing practical guidance and training, with escalation for complex issues to senior team members.

Responsibilities include reviewing and negotiating customer contracts, conducting legal research, and collaborating with CoE teams. This entry-level position offers growth within a global, matrixed organization while embracing AI-enabled delivery.

Formación

• Requires a Law degree from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in at least one Worley jurisdiction.
• Minimum Experience Required: 1 year.
• Preferred 1-4 years of relevant experience in contracts.
• Fluent in English (B2-C1).

Responsabilidades

• Entry level lawyer providing legal support to the [insert region] region under frequent guidance and direction from senior legal team members.
• Performs research on assigned practice areas and summarizes findings to support decision making.
• Reviews, analyzes and summarizes documents and other materials.
• Collaborates closely with regional generalist lawyers, CoE teams, and cross-functional teams to manage legal risk and support business objectives.
• Assists in reviewing and negotiating customer contracts within the region.
• Handles routine legal matters in collaboration with the relevant CoE teams and escalates complex matters as appropriate.
• May assist in complex Projects during opportunity or execution stages under guidance.
• Including advising on contractual risks, and supporting change management activities.
• May participate in a practice area Working Group, in support of and in collaboration with the responsible GC and, where appropriate, the relevant CoE.
• Champions a positive, team-oriented approach, building strong relationships across legal and business teams. Actively seeks out opportunities to contribute to projects and supports initiatives that drive strategic and meaningful impact for the organization.

Senior Counsel

Entry-level legal professional within the Americas Legal team, focused on building foundational expertise in commercial and contractual matters. Provides practical support on routine legal issues, contributes to the implementation of established policies and procedures, and participates in training programs for personal development. Escalates complex matters to senior team members, with a primary emphasis on learning and growth within the legal function.

Requirements

What you will bring

Mandatory

• Requires a Law degree from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in at least one Worley jurisdiction, to the extent legally required in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum Experience Required: 1 year.
• Preferred 1-4 years of relevant experience in contracts,
• Fluent in English (B2-C1)
• Experience in a global or matrixed organization is an advantage.
• Familiarity with legal systems, technology tools and AI

Assets

• Fluent in Portuguese.
