Bluelight is seeking an experienced software architect to lead design and delivery of high-performance, secure, multi-tenant systems. You will architect low-latency services on AWS, define data models with RLS, and guide teams through ADRs and architecture reviews.

You will work across time zones, influence technology choices, and mentor engineers while delivering impactful client projects in a collaborative environment.

Formación

• 8+ years professional software development experience, with 3+ years in an architecture-focused role.
• Deep experience designing low-latency service architectures in AWS, including judgment about when distributed components earn their place.
• Experience designing audit/evidence systems: append-only event logs, versioned or bitemporal models, deterministic historical replay.
• Experience designing fail-open/fail-closed/degraded-state semantics and outage postures.
• Proven experience architecting secure multi-tenant environments with tradeoff analysis.
• Deep experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB and Row-Level Security at a data-modeling level.
• Expertise in designing and building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience architecting SDK integrations to other services.
• Experience establishing technical standards, architecture/code reviews, and mentoring teams.
• Experience producing architecture documents, ADRs, and decision records.
• Experience presenting architecture decisions in client security reviews.
• Experience with AI coding assistants in daily development.
• Strong problem-solving and technical leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree required.
