PRGX is seeking a Senior Business Information Analyst in Medellín to take end-to-end ownership of projects, collaborating with operational teams from requirements definition to delivery.

You will design and optimize data workflows using Prefect and Airflow, lead automation initiatives with Python and Selenium, and explore AI opportunities. Fluent English and a relevant degree are required, with mentorship of junior staff a key aspect.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Trino, SQL, and Python.
• 5+ years of experience in data, business analysis, or related roles.
• Fluent English is a must.
• Hands-on experience or strong interest in automation, AI, and process optimization.
• Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of projects, working closely with operational teams from requirements definition to delivery.
• Drive and contribute to data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, acting as a key point of contact between business and client’s technical stakeholders.
• Design, build, and optimize data workflows and orchestration pipelines using Prefect and Airflow.
• Lead automation initiatives, including RPA solutions with Python and Selenium.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and intelligent automation in business processes.
• Mentor junior team members and help define standards, best practices, and scalable solutions.

Knowledge & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Trino, SQL, and Python
• 5+ years of experience in data, business analysis, or related roles
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to detect, analyze, and solve complex problems end-to-end
• Team-oriented mindset with experience mentoring others
• Fluent English is a must
• Hands-on experience or strong interest in automation, AI, and process optimization
• Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation
