EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a Senior Backend Developer to join our AI Pods team. You will build robust AI-powered API services and agentic workflows, focusing on language model interaction with internal systems and external tools via orchestration frameworks.

You will design and own backend contracts, ensure end-to-end service reliability, and implement comprehensive observability, security, and cost-aware LLM integration across a distributed platform.

Formación

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python for high-performance backend services and cloud-native APIs.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, AWS, Docker, and ECS.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and auth/authz fundamentals.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build backend API services and LLM orchestration layers.
• Own API contracts and service reliability end-to-end.
• Integrate LLMs with rigorous systems engineering, evaluation, observability, and cost awareness.
• Develop RAG pipelines with document ingestion, embedding, and retrieval optimization.

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our AI Pods team, building robust AI-powered API services and agentic workflows.
