AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior AI Engineer in Barranquilla, Colombia, to design and build agentic workflows and AI-powered applications for enterprise software.

You will work across planning, implementation, testing, and production integration, leveraging Java, Spring Boot, Python, TypeScript, AWS, and AI agents to deliver robust, scalable solutions. You will mentor engineers and help shape an agentic-first technical strategy, collaborating with leaders to link capabilities to meaningful

Formación

• 5+ years in a software product development environment.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot proficiency.
• Relational databases experience.
• Hands-on with AI agents, tool-using LLMs, or orchestrated workflows.
• Experience with multi-agent systems, RAG, vector search, or human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Experience using agents for coding, review, testing, release, or incident response.
• Senior-level production software experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Python.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and AWS.
• Ability to design reliable agentic solutions and scale them.
• Strong communication and architectural judgment.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build agentic workflows coordinating tools, services, data, and approvals.
• Develop reusable patterns for agent orchestration and memory management.
• Utilize agentic coding tools across planning, implementation, testing, and review.
• Integrate agents into development, deployment, support, and operations.
• Establish standards for evaluation, observability, security, and governance.
• Prototype new agentic capabilities and productionize successful experiments.
• Deliver complete products, not just demos, with robust workflows.
• Identify ways to boost productivity and delivery through agentic development.
• Mentor engineers and shape a principled agentic strategy across teams.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to map capabilities to outcomes.
