Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design agentic workflows and AI-powered applications for enterprise software. You will lead multi-agent orchestration, build reusable patterns, and oversee end-to-end agent integration across development, testing, and production.

You will leverage Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, Python, RESTful APIs and AWS to deliver reliable, scalable solutions with strong governance and security. Remote and office options support flexible collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a software product development environment.
• Proficiency with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong relational database skills.
• Hands-on experience building AI agents and tool-using LLM apps.
• Experience with multi-agent systems, RAG, vector search, and agent evaluation.
• Experience using agents to support coding, reviews, testing, and release management.
• Senior-level experience building and operating production software.
• Experience with TypeScript, Python, RESTful APIs and AWS.
• Knowledge of APIs, workflow engines, event-driven architectures, integrations, or distributed systems.
• Strong testing, observability, security, permissions, and failure recovery.

Responsibilities

• Design and build agentic workflows coordinating tools, services, data, and human approvals.
• Develop reusable patterns for agent orchestration and multi-agent collaboration.
• Use agentic coding tools throughout planning, implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Integrate agents into development, testing, deployment, support, and operations.

• Identify ways to boost engineering productivity and delivery via agentic development.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to design and build agentic workflows and AI-powered applications for enterprise software products.

MUST HAVES

• - Experience creating workflows in which agents can reason, select tools, call APIs, manage state, recover from failures, and ***escalate*** to people when appropriate.
• - Ability to design agentic applications around real user needs, including intuitive experiences, reliable workflows, permissions, audit trails, and meaningful error handling.
• - Ability to move from prototype to production by addressing performance, scalability, security, monitoring, evaluation, cost, and ongoing maintenance.
• - A product mindset: the ability to understand a problem deeply, make appropriate tradeoffs, and deliver a complete solution that customers can depend on.
