Slalom is seeking a Sr. Accountant, Revenue to join our Finance team. You will own end-to-end revenue cycle accounting, including AR, contract assets/liabilities, and related entries, with ASC 606 and CECL focus. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, audit-ready reporting and strong internal controls.

Your role emphasizes analytical review, accounting judgment, and thorough documentation to support audits and regulatory compliance across the order-to-cash process.

Formación

• Progressive accounting experience (3–5+ years) in global or fast-growing companies.
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP with ASC 606 Revenue Recognition.
• Experience with contract review and accounting estimates.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and lookups; familiarity with Power BI/Power Query.

The Role: Sr. Accountant, Revenue

Job Profile Summary

The Revenue Accounting team is seeking an experienced accountant to deliver high-quality work that meets broader team objectives with minimal oversight and direction. This person will apply their foundational knowledge and skills to contribute to innovative solutions in a team environment that is focused on higher-level analysis, exception handling, and issue resolution.

The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of revenue cycle accounting with an end-to-end focus. This role prioritizes analytical review, application of accounting judgment, and control oversight across the order-to-cash lifecycle, with emphasis on application of ASC 606 - Revenue Recognition and ASC 326 - CECL.

What You’ll Do

Revenue Cycle Accounting & Close

• Own GL accounting for Accounts Receivable, contract assets, contract liabilities and related transactions including write-offs and adjustments
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
• Perform analytical review and variance analysis
• Prepare analysis for current expected credit losses (CECL/ASC 326) & engagement delivery concessions reserve
• Manage rebate accruals, reconciliations and settlements
• Ensure estimates are well-supported and audit-ready

Contract Review

• Review customer contracts under the ASC 606 five-step model
• Prepare collectability assessments at contract inception
• Partner with engagement and pursuit teams to document credit risk responses, develop mitigations, and ensure appropriate accounting treatment

O2C Assurance

• Perform analytical reviews across billing, AR, collections, and adjustments
• Identify & report on risks in collectability, aging, write-offs, and disputes
• Update collectability assessments & consider impacts on revenue recognition
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues

Audit & Controls

• Operate and enhance controls over revenue transaction cycle, including AR, cash receipts, contract assets and liabilities, reserves and estimates, and collectability risks
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606 and ASC 326
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and analysis

What You’ll Bring

• Progressive accounting experience (3–5+ years) in mid/large-size, global, or fast-growing companies. Public accounting experience a plus
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent subject area
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP with expertise in ASC 606 - Revenue Recognition
• Experience with contract review and accounting estimates
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, look-ups and complex conditional formulas
• Proficiency with reporting tools such as Power BI and Power Query
• Ability to collaborate effectively across all levels and layers of the organization using exceptional communication skills. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Preferred

• Experience in credit risk analysis
• Experience using SQL to analyze large data sets
• Experience with agentic process automation or RPA
• Expertise in Oracle ERP
