Citi Colombia is seeking an intermediate Securities & Derivatives Analyst 2 to review, investigate, and process sanctions-related alerts across orders, trades, and payments from trading desks and branches.

The role emphasizes meticulous documentation, attention to detail, accurate disposition, and escalation of sanctions findings to ensure compliance with policy and smooth settlement and reporting processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• Strong understanding of FX trades, securities, and payments.
• Data-intensive role requiring high accuracy.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• English B2; Portuguese preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Review and investigate trade, FX, securities, and payments documentation and escalate sanctions alerts.
• Verify information in supporting documents per sanctions policy.
• Perform tasks accurately and report to management when needed.
• Collaborate with management on quality, execution and training.
• Coordinate processing issues with relevant departments and resolve.
• Conduct regulatory controls and record retention per policies.
• Prepare and submit internal and external regulatory reports.
• Conduct investigations as L2 reviewer when required.
• Complete mandatory Citi trainings.
• Assess risk in business decisions and escalate control issues with transparency.
