Job summary

GIGA IT is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to join our team as a GIGAnte, supporting delivery for event technology and production projects with clients in the United States, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and manage dependencies across distributed teams, ensuring delivery predictability in a consulting or staff augmentation environment.

Advanced English is required for international collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Scrum Master in software development teams.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum principles, Agile practices, and sprint management.
• Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and supporting teams in achieving sprint goals.
• Demonstrated experience managing impediments, delivery risks, and technical dependencies.
• Experience working with cross-functional, distributed, and client-facing teams.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Developers, Tech Leads, QA, Project Managers, and client stakeholders.
• Experience in consulting, staff augmentation, or similar delivery models.
• Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively in international work environments.

Summary

We are looking for a new GIGAnte to join our team as an Scrum Master Senior. The client is an event technology and production company with a presence in the United States, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. The company combines audiovisual technology, creative services, and digital solutions to support in-person, hybrid, and virtual events. Its teams work with meeting planners, producers, technical directors, hotels, and venues, providing support from initial planning and design through event execution.

What You'll Do

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Lead Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring effective collaboration and continuous improvement. Support Developers in managing their Daily Scrum and adapting sprint plans as needed.

• Remove impediments: Identify and track blockers, address recurring delivery issues, and coordinate resolutions with Tech Leads, QA, Project Managers, and client stakeholders.

• Manage dependencies and risks: Make technical dependencies visible across backend services, mobile APIs, AWS environments, and third-party integrations. Coordinate agreements on testing, integration, and delivery timelines.

• Support delivery predictability: Monitor sprint progress, identify delivery risks, and help the team maintain alignment with sprint goals and project priorities.

• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration: Ensure effective coordination across distributed teams, technical stakeholders, and external clients.

• Promote continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to improve team processes, remove inefficiencies, and strengthen delivery practices.

• Support client-facing delivery: Work within a consulting or staff augmentation environment, helping distributed teams deliver effectively in collaboration with external clients.

We'll Expect You To Have

• Proven experience as a Senior Scrum Master in software development teams.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum principles, Agile practices, and sprint management.
• Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and supporting teams in achieving sprint goals.
