Job summary

Tidal is hiring a Video Editor for an eCommerce brand in healthcare apparel. Create 8–12 short-form videos per week for Meta using real customer content, product footage, and AI visuals to entertain, inform, and drive sales.

Work remotely as an Independent Contractor, with a full-time commitment (~40 hours/week) and flexible hours, overlapping Australian or US business hours as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years editing social video ads.
• Strong portfolio of finished short-form videos for Reels/TikTok/Shorts showing hooks and retention.
• Hands-on experience creating ads using AI UGC, AI animation, and realistic AI b‑roll.
• Proficiency in CapCut and at least one professional video editing platform.
• Ability to work independently from a brief, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Edit 8–12 short-form videos weekly for Meta ads.
• Build strong hooks and maintain viewer attention with captions and motion graphics.
• Produce AI videos end-to-end: prompts, content, selects takes, edits.
• Create AI supporting footage (b-roll) matching lighting and tone.
• Deliver on-brand work and meet deadlines across multiple projects.
