REA.co is seeking a remote Senior Bookkeeper with strong real estate accounting and AppFolio experience. You will be the main client contact, oversee monthly bookkeeping, and ensure accuracy across a portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities include bank reconciliations, AP/AR, month-end close, and property setup. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in real estate accounting and superb English communication, with CPA preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years experience with AppFolio.
• 2+ years in real estate accounting/finance; experience at real estate firm or investment company.
• Able to lead client meetings.
• Knowledge of recording purchases, dispositions, refinancing, capitalization of costs for real estate development, and rental income statements.
• Strong English verbal and written skills.
• Able to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Detail oriented and process driven.

Responsabilidades

• Timely client communication.
• Collaborate with Bookkeepers and the Client Success Director.
• Complete bank reconciliations, AP, and AR.
• Answer team questions and support clients.
• Assist with month-end close and report generation.
• Set up new properties, manage owner draws and fees.
• Ensure monthly deadlines are met.
