Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Senior Product Designer with a strong security background to shape the UX of its telemetry platform. You will lead end‑to‑end design across SOC workflows, detection, and AI‑assisted experiences, partnering with product, engineering, and UX researchers to deliver secure, clear, and scalable interfaces.

You will design complex enterprise workflows, contribute to the design system, and work in a remote‑first, globally distributed team. A portfolio with case studies is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing complex B2B software or enterprise platforms.
• Security background in product design, security operations, threat detection, or related fields.
• Understanding of security practitioners’ realities and high‑consequence decisions.
• Strong product thinking and interaction‑design skills to simplify complex workflows.
• Experience designing AI‑assisted, agentic or emerging interaction models.
• Expert Figma skills with advanced prototyping and documentation.
• Experience contributing to design systems and reusable components.
• Understanding of AI tools and AI UX interaction models.
• Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering in iterative environments.
• Portfolio with case studies showing role, decisions, and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design from problem framing to implementation.
• Design workflows for detection creation, alert review, investigation, triage, and search pivots.
• Apply security judgment to evidence, provenance, permissions, and auditability.
• Design AI‑assisted and agentic experiences with clear intent and trust.
• Use Cribl’s design system and contribute reusable components and patterns.
• Work in Figma for exploration, prototyping, and handoff with libraries and tokens.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs and designers to ensure feasibility and accessibility.
• Share work early and often through critiques and sessions.
• Prioritize opportunities using research and product evidence.
• Communicate design rationale and tradeoffs to technical and non‑technical partners.
• Remote‑first environment may require hours outside standard times.
