INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to strengthen the Java/Spring stack in a remote LATAM setting. You’ll modernize a monolith toward microservices, upgrade Dropwizard to Spring Boot, and take ownership of critical migrations and ongoing product development.

You’ll work with Java 21, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL Server, and a collaborative team. The role is long-term, with flexible remote work options and a path toward technical leadership.

Formación

• 6+ years of backend development experience, primarily in Java.
• Deep expertise with Spring (Spring Boot, Spring Core, Spring Data).
• Proven experience leading major-version upgrades and framework migrations independently.
• Experience building and supporting Java microservices in production.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong test automation skills (JUnit, Mockito, integration testing).

Responsabilidades

• Lead major-version upgrades and framework migrations from planning through delivery.
• Modernize legacy and monolithic components toward a microservices architecture.
• Design, build, and maintain Java microservices with Spring Boot.
• Containerize and deploy services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with SQL Server to design, optimize, and maintain data.
• Build and maintain strong automated test coverage for migrations and features.
• Contribute to new product development after migration work.
• Mentor peers and raise technical standards through code reviews and design discussions.
