Abstra in Colombia is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to help shape the future of secure software development. You will design, develop, and scale core products, collaborating across backend, frontend, and cloud-native apps while mentoring engineers.

You will join the Developer Experience team, define repeatable enablement practices, participate in governance, and drive service delivery excellence for customer-facing products. This is a remote role aligned with CST/EST schedules within Colombia.

Formación

• Proficiency in Python or Go and bash scripting on Linux.
• Experience with modern CI/CD practices (Jenkins, FluxCD, GitHub Actions).
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Cloud services (AWS) and Kubernetes experience.
• Knowledge of SRE principles and observability tools like Prometheus/OpenTelemetry.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and scale core products across backend, frontend, and cloud-native apps.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
• Define repeatable, modular practices for service delivery and governance.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to define product metrics and remediations.
• Support on-call rotations and incident management.
