Petra Brands, the studio behind House of Party, is seeking a creative Product Designer to develop new product concepts, packaging, and seasonal collections. You will work with the Head of Creatives to drive the full product development cycle from ideation to production, ensuring retail-readiness and brand consistency.

You should have a 2–4 year background in retail or private label product design, strong skills in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and familiarity with 3D tools.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in retail or private label product design, preferably within party products, packaging, gifting, or seasonal goods.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; familiarity with 3D or mockup tools (Blender, SolidWorks, KeyShot) is a plus.
• Good understanding of materials, print processes, dielines, and packaging mechanics.
• Ability to balance creative thinking with practical design execution.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills — ability to collaborate with creatives, sourcing, and marketing teams effectively.
• Interest in seasonal trends (Christmas, Halloween, Birthdays, etc.) relevant to the party industry.

Responsabilidades

• Product Concept & Design
• Support biannual retail product catalogs creation and delivery
• Track progress of product subcategories and meet deadlines for SKU definition, pricing, packaging, and samples
• Coordinate with design, sourcing, and marketing teams for internal and retail presentations
• Collaborate with Head of Creatives, Sourcing, and Private Label on design direction, materials, and production feasibility
• Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure designs meet quality, material, and cost standards
• Review samples and provide design feedback during pre-production
• Ensure product and packaging designs align with brand guidelines and seasonal themes
• Develop cohesive product collections aligned with campaigns or retail strategies
• Research and trend analysis in party goods, gifting, lifestyle
• Benchmark competitors and propose improvements or innovations
• Prepare detailed design specs, renders, and print-ready files for supplier handoff
• Maintain organized design records, templates, and version control
