BairesDev in Colombia is seeking an experienced Penetration Tester to perform authorized security assessments of web applications and infrastructure, identify vulnerabilities, and deliver actionable remediation guidance to development teams.

You will work 100% remotely, with flexible hours and the option to be paid in USD or local currency, along with hardware and software setup for home work; the role emphasizes staying ahead of threat vectors and collaborating with a global Top 1% security

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Application Security, Penetration Testing, or Offensive Security.
• Proven expertise in performing authorized simulated attacks on web applications and systems.
• Proficiency with security testing tools including Burp Suite and Metasploit.
• Strong background in identifying vulnerabilities and providing actionable remediation reports.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive penetration tests on web applications and infrastructure to identify security flaws.
• Utilize industry-standard tools such as Burp Suite and Metasploit to simulate sophisticated cyberattacks.
• Document detailed findings, including the severity of vulnerabilities and technical steps to reproduce them.
• Provide clear and practical remediation recommendations to development and engineering teams.
• Stay updated on the latest threat vectors, exploits, and offensive security methodologies.
