Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Test Automation Engineer (Appium) to join our fully remote team. You will design scalable mobile automation frameworks, develop automated scripts, and ensure quality across native, hybrid, and mobile web apps.

Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and improve testing coverage. With 4+ years of experience, you will work in a global, multicultural environment while leveraging CI/CD practices to enhance product quality.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Test Automation or QA Engineering.
• Proven expertise in building mobile automation frameworks using Appium.
• Proficiency in cross-platform testing across iOS and Android devices.
• Experience testing native, hybrid, and mobile web applications.
• Strong understanding of mobile automation best practices and tools.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable mobile test automation frameworks using Appium.
• Create and execute automated test scripts to verify product functionality on real devices and emulators.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous quality improvement.
• Perform API-level testing to validate backend services supporting mobile applications.
• Research and implement advanced mobile automation practices to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
