Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Kafka Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable event streaming architectures using Apache Kafka. You will develop real-time data pipelines and help integrate streaming solutions across enterprise systems in a fully remote role.

You will collaborate with global teams, configure Kafka clusters for high availability, implement Kafka Streams or Flink, and troubleshoot complex distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Apache Kafka and distributed streaming architectures.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing event streaming solutions.
• Proficiency in Java and stream processing technologies.
• Experience with Kafka ecosystem tools (Confluent Platform, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry).
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and messaging architectures.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable event streaming architectures using Apache Kafka and related technologies.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines for high-performance, real-time data processing.
• Configure and manage Kafka clusters, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and optimal performance.
• Implement stream processing solutions using Kafka Streams, Apache Flink, or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate solutions into existing enterprise architectures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex distributed streaming system challenges.
