BairesDev is hiring a Junior Data Engineer to support building and maintaining data pipelines, storage, and ETL processes. You will collaborate with seasoned engineers to turn raw data into usable information and help ensure data quality.

This is a 100% remote role, offering compensation in USD or local currency, with flexible hours and a path for skills development in a global, top‑tier tech environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database design.
• Familiarity with Python or Java programming.
• Understanding of ETL concepts and data modeling basics.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Good level of English.

Responsabilités

• Assist in designing and building data pipelines for collecting, processing, and storing data.
• Support the implementation of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Help maintain data warehouses, lakes, and databases.
• Contribute to data quality monitoring and validation.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements.
• Learn and apply data engineering technologies and best practices.
