Job summary

Releady is seeking an experienced IBM i specialist for a remote contractor engagement to assess and support an IBM i/E3 replenishment environment. The engineer will map data flows from Dynamics AX 2012, document processes, and provide on-call support during the transition.

Strong reverse-engineering skills and English at B2+ are required. The role operates remotely within LATAM, for a 6-month term with possible extension, and requires availability during US Eastern business hours.

Qualifications

• Senior, hands-on IBM i depth with experience in E3 replenishment
• Ability to reverse-engineer and document systems with little existing documentation
• Experience reading, debugging, and modifying RPG and CL programs
• Knowledge of DB2 for i, and flat-file interfaces to other systems
• Experience with green-screen (5250) menus and ERP integration is a plus
• Fluent English communication (minimum B2)

Responsibilities

• Assess the IBM i environment, gain access, review jobs, queues, schedules, programs, menus and user profiles
• Document processes with screen recordings, screenshots, and notes for future reference
• Provide on-call support and hand-off, train internal staff for day-to-day operatons
