BairesDev is seeking a Software Engineer (Healthcare) to develop and maintain secure, HIPAA-compliant systems for handling PHI and integrating with major EHR platforms. You will work with HL7 and FHIR standards to enable reliable data exchange and audit logging to ensure compliance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate complex healthcare requirements into scalable solutions while maintaining top-tier security and performance across health tech platforms.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a healthcare focus.
• Proven expertise in HIPAA-compliant systems and PHI handling.
• Hands-on experience with EHR integrations and HL7/FHIR standards.
• Experience implementing audit logging and security protocols for health data.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and implement HIPAA-compliant backend systems with secure PHI handling.
• Develop and maintain integrations with major EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, AthenaHealth).
• Implement and optimize HL7 and FHIR messaging standards for data exchange.
• Design and manage robust audit logging to monitor access and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate healthcare requirements into scalable software solutions.
• Ensure health tech platforms are secure and perform well through proactive monitoring and testing.
