Job summary

Blossom is seeking a strategic and hands-on Data Analyst Lead to shape our data architecture and governance. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and own AWS-based solutions that drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.

The role requires 5+ years in data roles with at least 2 years leading teams, strong Python/SQL, and BI skills, plus the ability to communicate across technical and executive teams in a fintech context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years in data roles, including at least 2 years leading teams.
• Proven experience designing data architectures on AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
• Python proficiency for pipeline development and analysis.
• Advanced experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).
• Understanding of ML frameworks and model deployment.
• Data modeling, warehousing, and query optimization skills.
• Experience designing data APIs and microservices.
• Advanced technical English; solid grasp of CI/CD and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the organization's data strategy and lead a multidisciplinary team.
• Design AWS-based data architecture with ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouses.
• Translate business needs into analytics and reporting solutions.
• Establish data quality, governance, and security standards.
• Oversee development of dashboards, reports, and predictive models.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve the data stack.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and mentoring of new team members.
• Foster collaboration and continuous learning within the data team.
