Alignerr is seeking a Back End Developer to design, build, and optimize the server-side systems and APIs that power cutting-edge AI products. The role is a fully remote hourly contract requiring 10–40 hours per week, with responsibilities spanning data pipelines, model-serving infrastructure, and scalable microservices.

You will work asynchronously with distributed teams, implement robust backend services, and ensure high performance under real-world traffic.

Formación

• Proficient in one or more back end languages
• Experience with RESTful API design and microservices
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong problem-solving and async collaboration skills

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain back end services, APIs, and data pipelines
• Build scalable server-side architecture for AI workloads
• Write clean, testable code following engineering best practices
• Integrate with databases, message queues, cloud services, and third-party APIs
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability as usage grows
• Collaborate asynchronously with distributed teams of engineers and researchers
• Tackle production issues, perform code reviews, and contribute to architecture decisions
• Work independently on task- and project-based assignments on your own schedule
